Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette II
The VIB Sale is the perfect time to pick up a new eyeshadow palette – I can never have enough! This palette by Tarte is an all-in-one for your face, featuring eyeshadow, bronzer, blush, and highlight, which makes it a great value and perfect for travel. The colors combination is also beautiful, featuring neutral tones for daytime, and richer hues to amp up your look for nighttime wear.
Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream
If you’ re looking to brighten your skin and/or fade any dark marks, I recommend this hydrating cream from Sunday Riley. Since it’s a bit pricey, the VIB Sale is the perfect opportunity to purchase it, and it’s also available in a smaller size if you want to try it out first before committing to the standard size.
This past year I’ve struggled with red post-acne marks on my face (a new skin problem for me that I started experiencing out of the blue – don’t you love when that happens?), and this cream has really helped to fade the marks more quickly, as well as give me a brightened complexion.
Drybar Buttercup Blow Dryer
All hairdryers are not created equal! If you rarely ever use a hairdryer, skip to the next product, but if you rely on a hairdryer after each time you wash your hair like I do, it may be time for you to invest in a quality one. I feel that Drybar’s blowdryer gives me smoother, shinier blowout results than other name brand blowdryers I’ve used in the past, and I am super happy with it. (Though I’ve heard this one is the GOAT, if you can afford to really splurge.)
Olaplex Bond Maintenance Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner combo is at the VERY top of my Sephora shopping list. If you have damaged, dry, and/or color-treated hair, you need these products in your life! They work to repair the broken bonds of your hair to make it stronger and reduce breakage. They’re also free of sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, a.k.a. all the bad ingredients you should avoid in your hair products.
A few months ago, my hair had become so dry that it felt like straw and was tangling non-stop. I tried a bunch of different products that hardly made a difference before I started using this shampoo and conditioner (since I also use this at-home treatment by the same brand) and my hair has become sooooo much healthier and softer. I am honestly amazed at the results I’ve had!
The shampoo is especially fantastic because you need so little of the product in order to work up a lather in the shower. I know that almost all shampoos claim that you only need to use a dime-size amount of product, but that’s rarely the case; I usually have to fill up my entire palm with shampoo to have enough to work through all of my hair (I do have long, fairly thick hair, to be fair). This is the only shampoo I’ve ever used where that’s actually true, though! A dime-sized amount is plenty in order to wash your hair with, which means that the shampoo will last you for a long time and justifies its higher price tag. Stick with using it for a month or two consistently, and be prepared to fall in love with your hair again.
Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder
This is a product I have not tried yet, but have heard great things about. I’ve stuck with the OG Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder for a while now, but this is supposed to be even better. No better time to buy it than when it’s on sale!
Charlotte Tilsbury Hot Lips Lipstick
I have a lip liner from Charlotte Tilsbury that I adore, so I’ve been eager to try lipstick from her line. The formulation is supposed to be excellent. I’ve been eyeing the hues “Super Cindy” and “Pillow Talk.”
Drunk Elephant The Littles
Drunk Elephant has amazing reviews for their skincare products, and this kit featuring mini sizes of their best-sellers will be a great way to try them all out at a discounted price. Skincare is always worth the investment!
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
Meet my holy-grail body lotion. It’s basically my signature scent, because I prefer the smell of it to almost any actual perfume! (I use it in conjunction with their body fragrance mist). Moisturizing your body with this cream is such a treat; I think of it as a little act of self-care, which helps me justify the price. 😉
Tan Luxe The Face Illuminating Self-Tanning Drops
The concept of this product is to mix drops of it with whatever facial moisturizer or serum you use to give your face a natural-looking tan with minimal irritation. I look forward to trying this, since my summer tan is fading away (wah)!
Nurse Jamie Uplift Massaging Beauty Roller
It’s hard to imagine that this contraption would actually make a difference to your appearance, but apparently, it really does! This beauty roller, similar to a jade roller, is meant to revive and uplift your skin, and help maintain a youthful appearance. I am all about anti-aging, and Nurse Jamie is a guru in the field.
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
I’m always down to try a new face mask, and have been wanting to try one of Summer Friday’s masks forever now. This mask is for dull and/or congested skin, helping to brighten, exfoliate, and clarify your complexion. It’s also a “Clean at Sephora” item, meaning it’s free of any harmful ingredients. Apparently, it smells like pumpkin too, which seems extra appropriate for the current season!
