It’s been a while since I’ve done a monthly wish list, and the start of a new season is the perfect time to do some shopping and refresh your wardrobe & makeup collection. This April, I am eyeing the following:
1. Crap Eyewear “The Road Crue” Sunglasses
For months I’ve been on the lookout for some vintage-inspired aviator sunglasses with colored lenses, and this pair from Crap Eyewear has hit the mark. Their oversized fit and tortoise frames give them a more authentic, luxe look compared to some of the inexpensive options I’ve seen at the mall. They are going to add a cool, retro vibe to my spring and summer outfits. A close second option is their “Tuff Safari” style, which comes in a bunch of hues, as well.
2. Luv AJ Baby Amalfi Tube Hoops
This season, it’s all about chunky, thick hoop earrings, as opposed to the classic thin style. The trend is now moving towards smaller sized hoops, and these baby tube hoops are the ultimate accessory for Spring/Summer 2018. In addition to being trendy, they are so versatile– you can wear them casually with jeans and a tee, or with a dressier look. Luv AJ is one of my go-to brands when it comes to jewelry!
3. Amuse Society “The Sweet Life” Tee
It’s no secret I love rosé and will gladly drink it/rep it, so this “Rosé Club” t-shirt from Amuse Society has my name all over it. While there are many rosé slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts on the market, many of them come across as a bit cheesy. This particular tee has a more unique design that I think is super fun, especially thanks to its soft yellow hue.
4. Tatcha Silk Canvas Protecting Primer
I’m interested in trying this new Tatcha makeup primer which claims to keep makeup out of your skin, helping to prevent clogged pores which lead to breakouts. Preventing acne is a top priority for me, so if this primer can create a strong barrier between my skin and my makeup, I am all for it.
5. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
There’s been a ton of hype surrounding this mask on social media, which is supposed to plump fine lines, gently exfoliate, hydrate and deliver vitamins, antioxidants, etc. to your skin. I’m a mask junkee, so of course I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Plus, you don’t have to wash this mask off– you can actually leave it on your face and use it as a moisturizer, making it ideal for airplane travel, or for those nights where you’re too lazy to get out of bed to wash your mask off.
