What’s good this month.

1. Striped Open-Back Midi Dress
This dress is so eye-catching and gives off major Hamptons-esque summertime vibes. The open back, midi length, beige and white stripes, button-down front, and waist sash that ties perfectly into a bow at the back are all features which make this such a chic yet flirty creation.
2. Espadrille Sneakers
I love Vans (team Vans > Converse all the way), and I think that their espadrille-sneaker creation is so smart. These couldn’t be more perfect for summertime wear– think of pairing them with jean shorts, shift dresses, etc. Espadrilles in general are very in this season, but I always jump at the chance to wear sneakers because I like being comfortable, so these are the perfect combination.
3. Yellow Aviator Sunglasses
70’s-inspired aviator sunglasses with sheer, colored lenses have made a major comeback, and I have to admit that I think this trend is pretty dope. Sunglasses like these seemed to be very popular at Coachella (from what I had seen in photos), and while these would be especially great for a music festival, I say why not stunt in your regular, daily life too? 😎
4. Tie-Front Top
This top gives me life! It encompasses many of my current favorite trends: a tie front design, cropped length, and is a rich, gorgeous shade of red– red being my most coveted hue this season. I mostly stick to wearing neutrals, but recently I’ve been searching for red or blood orange colored tops to add some spice to my wardrobe. This crop top would be perfect for a night out with some distressed high-waisted jeans (and a nice tan).
5. Spiked Glass Water Bottle
I’m the worst when it comes to using plastic water bottles 24/7 (at least I recycle, though!), but this glass water bottle is so cool-looking that it would actually make me want to quit my bad habit. This bottle is BPA-free (a harmful chemical found in some plastic bottles) and is chemically inert, but aside from its commendable interior qualities, its outside appearance is far from average. The pale pink/nude colored (I refuse to use the term “millennial pink” 🙄) silicone sleeve with spikes gives the bottle a fashion-forward look I would be proud to carry around.
6. Lace-Up Platform Espadrilles
I’ve already mentioned how into the color red I am for this season, and these red/blood orange espadrilles are hitting the mark. The flatform heel height can be worn day or night, and the lace-up design makes for the cutest touch. These would add the perfect pop of color to any outfit.
7. Distressed High-Rise Jeans
If this wish list was in order of most wished for, these would be at the top of my list. It seems like every blogger/influencer out there has these jeans, and they just look amazing on everyone. They have a vintage-inspired fit that has been updated to look super flattering, and have the perfect amount of distressing. Unfortunately, I can’t justify dropping $250 on a pair of jeans right now (keepin’ it real with y’all) so I’ll have to keep dreaming about these until I can…
8. Moon Crater Ring
I’m not a big-time jewelry girl, and the only jewelry I’m ever drawn to are pieces that look unique– meaning I’ve always stayed far away from Pandora and the like. 🙅🏼 This moon crater ring looks like nothing I’ve ever seen before, and I think it would make for such a cool statement when worn solo. I also love how it mixes gold with silver, so that it can match either metal depending on your jewelry preferences.
