Happy November!

So I have to admit it feels super awkward to write a post all about myself, because while I love sharing my outfit ideas, tips, and shopping picks, I never want to come across as self-centered.

However, I do want my readers to feel like they know me (and vice versa!), and these “Get to Know Me” posts in the blogger world are a popular way to do so. Plus, I personally love reading other blogger’s questionnaires, so I’ll be answering 25 questions in order for us to take our relationship to the next level. 😉

1. Favorite Movie?

Clueless is my #1 all-time favorite.

I also have to give honorable mention to Lords of Dogtown, Almost Famous, and American Psycho. And no matter how many times I’ve watched Stepbrothers, I still die laughing.

2. Favorite TV show?

Currently? Or of all time? This is an impossible question for me because there are too many TV shows I’ve been addicted to! 😬

I couldn’t live without Bravo channel and basically all of it’s reality shows.

I also feel the need to mention that Riverdale has been a fave of mine since I binged-watched Seasons 1 and 2. Sounds embarrassing, but it’s actually SO good. If you know me in real life, I’ve probably gotten on my soapbox and tried convincing you to watch it. Although I will say Season 3 has been getting a kind of ridiculous and out of hand, lol.

In terms of more classic/throwback shows of which I’ve seen every episode of every season multiple times: Sex and the City, Gossip GirlThe Office, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

3. Favorite Book?

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde; I re-read it every few years.

The Tao of Pooh is another favorite.

4. Major in College?

I double-majored in English Literature and Communications.

5. Nationality/Cultural Background:

Greek-American. I was born in the U.S., but my family’s ethnicity is fully Greek on both sides.

6. Favorite stores to shop at?

Zara is probably my #1. It’s been my favorite store since I started shopping there when I was around 7 years old living in Europe; I vividly remember how excited I would get to rush (literally, I would run) to the children’s section when my mom would take me to the store. To this day, I still want to buy everything they make!

7. Dream vacation destination?

Giraffe Manor in Kenya!!!

8. Favorite alcoholic beverage?

Rosé, frozé, and spicy margs.

9. Go-to Starbucks order?

I switch my order up depending on my cravings/the season/the time of day, but my main go-to’s are a Trenta Iced Unsweetened Green Tea (with light water) or a Venti Iced Vanilla Bean Coconut Milk Latte with only one scoop of the vanilla bean powder. So good, and feels a little more natural than syrup-based drinks.

10. Speak other languages?

I am fluent in Greek.

11. Favorite color?

White. Especially when it comes to interiors!

12. Favorite brand of jeans?

Mother denim, which fit amazingly. They’re super pricey but you can find styles on sale, and they are worth every penny. I love jeans that look rigid but which have a little bit of stretch!

13. Favorite place you’ve traveled to?

Maybe I’m biased since I’m Greek, but Greece. The country is so special to me and I have such a deep connection to it. It really feels like home, and every time I visit, I feel recharged.

14. Siblings?

Nope, I am an only child. Sometimes I do wish I had a sister!

15. Bad habit?

I twirl/twist my hair. I’ve been doing it since I was a baby and am still working on quitting, but it feels weirdly relaxing to me.

16. Have a pet?

No, but I wish! Can’t wait to get a puppy some day in the semi-near future. (I’m 100% a dog person.)

17. Celebrity style inspirations?

I love model’s off-duty looks – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley always looks perfect to me. I also am a big fan of Elsa Hosk and Emily Ratajkowski’s street styles.

18. Favorite season?

Fall, because what’s not to love about the weather, the outfits, the hot drinks, and the festivities?!

19. Play sports?

Not anymore, considering all of my knee and ankle surgeries, but I played soccer growing up until midway through high school. Center forward, baby!

20. Cook at home or eat out?

Unpopular opinion, but 100% eat out! I love the instant gratification of choosing whatever dish you please and it being served to you within 20 minutes. No grocery shopping, no prep work, no mess in the kitchen, no dishes to clean up afterwards. Usually tastes better, too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

21. Top of your bucket list?

To travel to Africa and go on a safari!

22. How many places have you lived, and where?

I’ve lived in Maryland, California, Arizona, New York, and Kalamata, Greece.

23. Zodiac sign?

Aquarius (but I’m on the cusp of being a Pisces).

24. Celebrity crush(es)?

Charlie Hunnam (a.k.a. Jax Teller in SOA), Ryan Gosling in The Place Beyond the Pines, and/or K.J. Apa of Riverdale fame.

25. Favorite food?

Ugh, another impossible question. Pasta and pizza probably, but I have a huge sweet tooth, too!

  4. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

be on the net the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to
