The bomber jacket: a modern day wardrobe essential.

It’s amazing how a bomber jacket and some major distressing can transform a basic jeans + plain top combo into an actual *~look~*.  I recently wore this outfit for a casual night out, and felt super comfortable in my distressed, mid-rise jeans from Zara and simple black mock neck top. Side note: I love how these jeans have a rip on the back upper thigh area (see last photo below)– it’s a fun, sexy little touch without going full-on and showing a ton of skin.

The jeans are ankle-length, so they pair perfectly with ankle booties– in this case, my go-to Blondo waterproof suede booties. As I’ve mentioned before, these booties were 100% worth the investment, being super comfortable, versatile, and weather-proof. I’m legit in love with them.

Wearing this lightweight black bomber jacket with silver hardware over top pulled my look together and made a subtle statement. Bomber jackets are showing no signs of going out of style, and for good reason, considering they make even the most basic outfits like a t-shirt and leggings look so cool. To complete my look, I carried my trusty moto satchel from HERE to match my bomber’s silver metal detailing.
