Before we start freaking out over Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I wanted to share a fairly simple yet cute combo perfect for the fall season, including Thanksgiving. A couple months back, I picked up this gorg mock neck sweater from Australian online boutique Princess Polly in a rich wine color with flared sleeves. The sleeves feature just the right amount of flare– enough to make a statement, but not overwhelmingly large, or too long.

This sweater is no longer available, however I found some similar options HERE, HERE, and HERE. Below, I have also included links to other similar items in my look.

To keep this outfit simple, I paired my sweater with some dark wash busted-knee skinny jeans from Free People. Blown-out knees are a trend in denim this season, which for me personally is a total plus because it allows my knees “breathing room” after having had surgery on both of my knees this past year! But whether you have knee issues or not, large rips make bending down a whole lot easier, as does the stretchy material of these jeans. 👍

I completed my look with some cognac colored ankle booties from Chinese Laundry along with my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag, which as I previously mentioned, tends to get a lot of use during the fall season for me.

If you’re planning on dressing more casually this Thanksgiving, a flared sleeve sweater in a rich color, along with some dark jeans and ankle booties is a cute look to consider!

As for me? I will be stuck in bed wearing pajamas this Thanksgiving, since I just had ankle reconstruction surgery a few days ago. More on that in a Life Update post to come soon!

What are you planning on wearing this Thanksgiving? Tell me in a comment!
